Vanessa Contopulos, MA, is a board certified music therapist and the founder of Amplify Music Therapy. Vanessa has worked in music therapy and music education for over 20 years. Vanessa's work as a music therapist spans a broad range of settings including: schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, hospice, and privately in home or in clinics. Vanessa is also a singer-songwriter and mother of two. She loves working with people of all ages and abilities and especially loves to see what amazing things happen when people tap into their creative spirit.

Vanessa is the co-founder and co-director of Julian Junior Theater, a California non-profit serving the youth of the San Diego Backcountry.
